The purpose of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program is three-fold:

  1. To provide opportunities for academic enrichment, including providing tutorial services to help students to meet state and local student performance standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and mathematics;
  2. To offer students a broad array of additional services, programs, and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students; and
  3. To offer families of students served by community learning centers opportunities for literacy and related educational development.

About Our 21st CCLC

East End’s After–School Program runs from 2:45 – 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday on most days that students are in school.  This year the program began on August 28, 2006 and will end on May 18, 2007.  This year, we are fortunate to be able to offer bus transportation at the end of each day to students and parents who choose to use it.  The majority of our students do ride the bus.
